Nancy Keeney Forster shared the adventures and heard the stories of Cliff Forster from 1947 to 2006. Together, they journeyed across cultural frontiers from California to the Philippines, Japan, Burma, Washington D.C., Israel, Hawaii, and back to California. During those years, she developed her own career as an educator in international schools and administrator in the International Baccalaureate (IB) program. She taught high school history in Japan, Israel, Washington D.C., and Hawaii.

Retiring from the classroom, Forster undertook assignments for the North American IB office and was executive director of the California Organization of IB schools. Recently she was an inspector for schools in Dubai. After his death, she combined Cliff’s records and her own into the account of his remarkable series of encounters and the passions of a lifetime devoted to international dialogue and understanding.
